This year’s AGM will be at 8:30pm on on the 3rd December and we will be holding it by Teleconference. We are holding the AGM this way to try and allow as many people as possible to be involved, both existing members, past members and friends of the choir.
This is an important meeting for the choir as we need to decide the choir’s future direction and would like as much input and contribution as possible.
As well as the future direction of the choir we will also be electing the choir’s committee, the size of which has dwindled in the last few years. The three minimum elected key committee posts are: Musical Director, Administrator and Treasurer. The current post holders have agreed to stand again (with the obvious limitation from Heidi, see below) but anyone can stand against them.
The committee needs more than 3 people to run effectively and of the other traditional committee posts: Secretary, Assistant Musical Director, Publicity and Membership, The current secretary has agreed to stand again, but the other posts remain unfilled. It may be appropriate to change these rolls and we will be discussing this before elections are held.
