The BMYC all arrived safely on Friday night with a few members enjoying the joys of British Rail at 10pm but were safely delivered to their hosts.
Arriving at 9am rehearsal has started well with the choir sounding very good. The photo shows the choir starting to practice " I got rhythm" with one choir member commenting that "It doesn't go how you think it should!"
The British Methodist Youth Choir will be performing at Tewkesbury Methodist Church on the evening of the 23rd May 2009
The Tewkesbury Methodist church is situated in the historic town of Tewkesbury at the confluence of the rivers Avon and Severn.
The current Church was built in 1878 and is situated at the junction of the High Street, Barton Street and Church Street. In 1999 to 2000 the church underwent a major refurbishment enabling much greater and flexible use of the entire premises.
O God, make the door of this house wide enough for all who need human love.
