The Big London Sing (5th-7th July) is a chance for you to come and see how much fun it is to be a member of the British Methodist Youth Choir. We’ll be meeting up on the Friday evening from 7.30 and 8.30pm to kick off a fun weekend of singing and exploring London.
On Saturday we will be doing some singing – some of our standard repertoire and some new pieces too, and in the afternoon we’ll be having an explore of London – hopefully there will be time to do some sightseeing– Trafalgar Square, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, and maybe even to see if the Queen is at home at Buckingham Palace. We’ll also be having a little practice at Westminster Central Hall (the big Methodist church right opposite Westminster Abbey), because on Sunday morning we will be helping to lead worship at the Methodist Conference Sunday Morning service.
O God, make the door of this house wide enough for all who need human love.
- Thomas Ken, 1637-1711
