Merry Christmas from the BMYC

Merry Christmas

All the best to all friends and supporters of the choir. It has been a great year for the choir with us combining our normal concert program with a successful tour of Cornwall in July.

We have welcomed a number of new members and said good bye to a few.

We started the year with a wonderful concert in Aberystwyth in March. In May we stayed in the west and traveled to Tewkesbury where a number of choir members appeared on the BMYC on BBC Radio Gloucestershire.

The choir next visited the home choir of the then vice-president of Methodist conference in Salford where the choir also got to take in the sights, sounds and dances! of the Lowery centre.

Next was the tour of Cornwall, the first tour the choir has completed since 2001 and it was a success. We performed at St. Ives, Cambourne and Launceston as well as visiting many other locations on the way.

We finally capped off the year with an excellent concert at Banbury with one of the largest choirs of the year.

Merry Christmas to all and we look forward to seeing you in the new year.

God Bless
